Nurkyz Mairambekova is a linguist with a passion for teaching and working with children. Throughout her life, she has had the opportunity to immerse herself in various cultures and languages (fluent in Russian, Kyrgyz, and Turkish), which has shaped her career and experiences. Nurkyz graduated with a degree in Linguistics, specializing in multiple languages. This fascination led her to explore teaching as a way to not only share her linguistic knowledge but also to inspire and guide young learners. Back in her home country of Kyrgystan, she gained valuable experience teaching children and discovered an ability to connect with them, making learning fun and engaging. To further expand her knowledge and cultural understanding, Nurkyz decided to become an AuPair in Moscow and later in Boston. These experiences not only allowed her to improve her language skills but also gave her the opportunity to work closely with children from different cultural backgrounds.
"Looking ahead, I am excited to continue my journey as a dedicated teacher, using my linguistic expertise and love for art to create innovative and inclusive learning experiences. My goal is to foster love for languages and art in the young minds, inspiring them to embrace cultural diversity and becoming confident global citizens."Spanish and English." |
Renata Frade brings a wealth of knowledge and experience working with children in Brazil, where she has spent most of her life. Renata obtained her Bachelor's degree in Speech Therapy and has worked in patient rehabilitation and child language stimulation, as well as hospital setting with children who require additional assistance.
Renata shares: "Ever since I relocated to the Boston area, without speaking a word of English, the language was a barrier for me to feel adapted in this country, so I started studying right away. I believe that childhood learning takes place through the exchange of experiences and affection, and I, as an affectionate Brazilian with a thirst for learning, guarantee that I will dedicate myself to this exchange daily. I love sharing my experience in the child care setting now and bringing certain aspects of my culture through music, interactive play, and storytelling. " |
